Robin New has been involved in skateboarding for a long time. Living everywhere from Florida, to France, to Trinidad, to who knows where else, Robin has managed to build insane things to skate at every turn. Most notably Robin built a vert ramp in the rainforests of Trinidad complete with a roof made of trees he felled himself. The ramp still stands today and has its own scene that never would have been there without the ramp. After living in the jungles of Trinidad in a house he built himself, Robin moved to Stuart, Fl and started New Wakeskates, the first wakeskate company to build boards the same way skateboards are built. 4 years later, Robin decided it was time to try something New in the skateboard world. Robin had an idea for making a New kind of ramp. A few tests proved that his theory was correct. Skateboard ramps could be made stronger and lighter by understanding tension and compression, techniques used in boat building. Goat was born and ramps will never be the same. He’s a straight up genius.
Tim Kulas is a professional skateboarder for Beer City Skateboards from Milwaukee, WI. Tim is one of the most amazing skaters you will ever meet! He destroys everything in his path. From street, to bowls, mini, and vert – he skates it all, and skates it well. Besides skateboarding he is also an architectural and design freak. Tim gives goat ramps that special look and feel. Tim is the heart and soul of Goat. His enormous energy and love for skateboarding drives the company. Tim has built some of the most amazing backyard bowls, all out of scrap wood! These bowls have some of the most organic and amazing shapes. Tim’s “mixed media” approach to building makes them insane to skate, melding cedar, bamboo, concrete, and steel to his fancy. Personally I can’t wait to see what shapes he comes up with using the Goat building method.
